The president of the Fund, Sérgio Haddad, released his first novel on December 19th, at the headquarters of Educative Action in São Paulo. Apartamento 34 tells the story of a group of friends and reveals different forms of resistance to the military regime, reprising the formulations of civil society at the time. Proceeds from sales at the launch were donated by the author to the Brazil Fund. Among those present were Margarida Genevois, one of our founders.
