The First International Encounter of the Independent Foundations for Social Justice Network was held from July 8-10 in Rio de Janeiro. The event brought together specialists from various regions of the world who are active in social justice philanthropy to debate the different models used. The discussions also looked at the importance of providing better visibility to the issue.
The Brazil Human Rights Fund collaborated in organizing the event, mediated and participated in round table debates. The Brazil Fund’s participation was mentioned in the newspaper, “O Globo” (Portuguese only).
