The executive coordinator of Brazil Fund, Ana Valéria Araújo, participated in the AWID International Forum in September and discussed strategies to find new resources for women and feminist causes.
The event was also an opportunity to hold meetings and join efforts with other social movements’ representatives.
The forum brought together 1,800 participants from all over the world and one of its main agendas was the diversity within the movement for women’s rights.
AWID is an international feminist organization that works for gender equality, sustainable development and women’s human rights.
