On November 25th, 2011 the Brazil Fund launched its 2012 Call for Proposals. Grants will be awarded through a transparent selection process to grassroots organizations and individuals who are struggling against institutional violence and discrimination.
A concert featuring performances by Brazilian popular musicians Banda de Pífanos de Caruaru and Rita Ribeiro celebrated the annual event and the launching of the 2012 Call for Proposals.
