At a meeting held on November 29th, 2012, the Brazil Fund’s Board of Trustees elected member Darci Frigo as its new president. He assumes the place held by Jacqueline Pitanguay, whose mandate ended after having led the Board since the Fund’s inception. The members thanked the ex-president’s exemplary dedication over the past six years. Jacqueline will continue in her position as a member of the Board. Besides the election of the president, the Board re-elected member Anamaria Schindler for a second term as secretary.
