Programs director at Conectas Human Rights Juana Kweital* joined the Brazil Human Rights Fund Board of Trustees at its latest meeting on May 29. At this same meeting, we also had the opportunity to approve a new fundraising plan aimed at engaging individual donors.

* Juana Kweitel is programs director at Conectas Human Rights and associate editor-in-chief of Sur – International Human Rights Journal. With masters degrees in International Human Rights Law from Essex University, U.K., and in Political Science from the University of São Paulo; Juana is also a post-graduate in Human Rights and Democratic Transition, from the University of Chile, and a graduated lawyer, with honors, from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). She is also a member of Open Global Rights’ Advisory Council (2013) and the Members Association of the Legal and Social Research Center (CELS, Argentina).
