The Brazil Human Rights Fund Foundation is a Brazilian, non-profit and philanthropic institution, inscribed under the CNPJ nº 07.922.437/0001-21 and regulated according to the Brazilian Civil Code (articles 53 to 61).
The terms of this document deal with the donations realized by individuals to the Brazil Human Rights Fund Foundation, voluntarily and under no obligation of continuity for any pre-stipulated period. Upon realizing monetary contributions to the Brazil Human Rights Fund Foundation, individuals declare do being in agreement with these terms.
The donations realized to the Brazil Human Rights Fund Foundation will be destined to the functioning of the organization, its projects, partnerships and in the terms of its statute social object. The full amount raised will contribute to works in benefit of human rights and the maintenance of the Brazil Human Rights Fund Foundation, able to be allocated to different fronts, according to strategic plans and punctual needs.
So that all donors have full trust on the work carried out by the Brazil Human Rights Fund Foundation and establish relationships and commitment to the cause they are supporting, the organization commits itself to respect and divulge the Donor Rights Statute from ABCR – The Brazilian Association of Fundraisers.
All donors have the following rights:
– To be informed of the organization’s mission, about how it intends to use the donated resources and of its capacity to use the donations effectively for the intended objectives.
– To receive full information about the members of the Board of Directors and the Executive Office for the organization that requires the resources.
– To have access to the most recent yearly financial demonstration of the organization.
– To be assured that the donations will be used for the purposes they were made.
– To get appropriate recognition.
– To have the assurance that any information about your donation will be treated respectfully and with confidentiality, not being allowed to be divulged without previous approval.
– To be informed if those that solicit resources are members of the organization, hired autonomous professionals, or volunteers.
– To be allowed to strike their name, if they so desire, from any list of addresses that the organization may wish to share with third parties.
– To get rapid, honest and truthful responses to the questions they may ask.
Payment Method
Upon sending data through the doe.fundobrasil.org.br website or through the Donors Relations Channel, the DONOR authorizes the Brazil Human Rights Fund Foundation to charge punctual or monthly donations of the stipulated value at the moment of their registration or on later updates.
The Brazil Human Rights Fund Foundation will not provide a bank account for transfer or deposit or receive donations in cash, in events or in its headquarters, save for exceptions previously agreed upon with the department of Fundraising and through official communication authorizing that situation.
Credit Card
Recurring donations realized through credit card will be charged monthly through an approved and secure payment gateway. When it is impossible to charge the donation at the donor’s preferred date, it will be charged on following days, up until the end of the donation’s competency month.
Bank Bill
Single donation plans realized through bank bill will be charged monthly through titles registered to the bank by the Brazil Human Rights Fund Foundation using a trustworthy sub-acquirer. Should the bill not be paid until its expiration date, we are authorized to send a second bill referring to the unpaid competency.
Non-Payment of Donations
Non-payment of one or more donations, independent of motive, will not impose upon the DONOR the charging of a fine, fees or the inclusion in any kind of credit restriction registration. The payment of donations is spontaneous and optional to the donor, and may be suspended at any moment through the Donors Relations Channel.
Yearly Inflation Adjustments
The Brazil Human Rights Fund Foundation may readjust the value of the monthly donation every 12 months, according to the current inflation index and increase to bank costs during the period. Said adequation guarantees our work in defense of human rights in the face of new challenges.

Data Privacy
The Brazil Human Rights Fund Foundation commits to not divulging your data to third parties, sending undesired messages (SPAM), content unrelated to the human rights cause and/or the organization’s own activities.
All the data shared between the DONOR and the Brazil Human Rights Fund Foundation will be stored in secure servers and using providers competent for that service.

Donation Cancelation Policy
The Brazil Human Rights Fund Foundation considers every donation to be a voluntary and spontaneous gesture, able to be canceled at any moment, with no consequence. So that further donations aren’t realized against the donor’s will, cancelation must be done in up to 10 days before the agreed upon launching in the invoice. To cancel the donation, one must simply contact our Donors Relations Channel through the (11) 3256-0621 number, Monday to Friday, from 8h to 18h, or through the following email: [email protected].
Reimbursement Policy
In cases of wrongful or duplicitous donation registrations, reimbursement may be requested through email to [email protected]. The reimbursement request will be analyzed and processed in up to 30 days.
General Information
The Brazil Human Rights Fund Foundation reserves the right to alter these terms at any moment, whenever it becomes necessary and with the intent to perfect the relationship with its donors.
