Samba artist Leci Brandão is known for her engagement in social causes. She got the crowd going during her show, “Musical dialogs in human rights”, put on by the Brazil Human Rights Fund in partnership with Sesc-SP. On stage she talked about the importance of supporting human rights and said that participating in Fund actions has been one of the important facts of her life. She is the first woman to participate in the composer’s circle of the Mangueira samba school. Along with samba classics, Leci delighted the crowd with her songs in defense of human rights.
