A Músico Cidadão concert with the participation of two guests, the musicians Chico César and Yannick Dellas, closed the campaign #NãoTáTranquiloNãoTáFavorável, carried out by Brazil Fund since last year, which has as main themes the defense of the rights of women and the LGBT population and racism confrontation. The artists’ performances were part of the event “Musical Dialogues in Human Rights” held this year at Sesc 24 de Maio, in the city center of São Paulo.
“The scenario of setbacks experienced by Brazil inspired the motto of this campaign, as a way to show society the importance of mobilization for the defense of rights,” said Ana Valéria Araújo, executive coordinator of Brazil Fund, at the event’s opening. Representatives of Brazil Fund’s supported organizations and other guests attended the presentation, which was marked by the cultural exchange between immigrants, refugees and Brazilian artists.
