Registered in the Nota Fiscal Paulista receipts program, which allows it to receive back part of the ICMS taxes collected by the state government, the Brazil Human Rights Fund obtained in April credits from receipts originating during the second half of 2013. The value of the collection was R$ 96,100. In all, since 2010 the initiative has netted the foundation R$ 307,300, the equivalent of support for at least seven projects selected during annual calls.
Campaign – Aware that it is the effort of each partnering shopkeeper that makes this resource possible, since 2011 that Fund has held, in partnership with Natura Cosmetics, campaigns alluding to specific dates related to human rights themes as a form of thanking participants for their collaboration. In March of this year, when International Women’s Day is celebrated (March 8), the activity looked at the importance of defending women’s rights, and involved 431 employees at 58 different participating shops.
