Seminars and workshops held throughout the year in Recife, Capital of Pernambuco, resulted in the production of the booklet Apitaço: Mulheres Enfrentando a Violência (Blowing the Whistle: Women Against Violence). In cases of violence against women, the action bolstered the complaints filed with the respective jurisdictions, using whistles as an instrument to issue alerts.
