Technical support for the strengthening of action

Monitorings and meetings between supported projects are part of the Brazil Fund’s work to strengthen organized civil society around the agenda of human rights promotion. The foundation team goes to the projects’ territories to know the work, offer technical support and help in strengthening the group’s actuation.

In 2023, our team took 18 trips for monitoring purposes. Throughout the year, 42 organizations and collectives were visited, in 11 Brazilian States: Amapá, Amazonas, Pará, Roraima, Bahia, Maranhão, Pernambuco, Rio Grande do Norte, Goiás, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, as well as the Federal District

Beyond the in-person visits, online monitorings enable the Brazil Fund’s team to accompany each supported project in a detailed and individualized manner.
